Upswing is heading to libraries in Staffordshire this October for Circus Explorers – performances and ‘Stay and Play’ sessions that will explore what bravery means to you and your children.
Is bravery having a go at something new, trying again after a fall, making a friend, or asking for help when something feels too hard?
Through circus performances and workshop sessions, you will discover together what it feels like to encounter challenge, uncertainty and growth, trying out climbing, balancing, falling, catching, swinging, letting go and trusting, all in a safe and supported environment guided by Upswing’s professional circus artists.

These sessions are a part of our ongoing work in libraries and Circus-Theatre Partnership with New Vic Theatre, and are a first step towards a new show Upswing is creating for libraries.
The families who take part will help shape what we create with your own moments of everyday courage, however ordinary they might seem.
