We’re co-hosting an afternoon for people working in circus in and around the Midlands — artists, teachers, producers, programmers, and anyone with a professional interest in circus.
It will be a relaxed chance to meet others in the region, make connections, and share ideas. Our aim is simple: to bring people together so everyone leaves with something useful — whether that’s an idea, a piece of information or a new contact.

2pm – Building Tour
Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the New Vic Theatre. Please arrive by 3pm so we can start the tour on time.
3pm – 6pm – Midlands Circus Gathering
An afternoon of networking, conversation and shared thinking.
7.30pm – Optional Evening Performance: The Little Mermaid
The New Vic has generously offered 20 complimentary tickets to the evening performance of The Little Mermaid — a joyful, colourful circus/theatre production for families, co-directed by Vicki Amedume (Upswing) and Theresa Heskins (New Vic).
Tickets are first-come, first-served with one free ticket available per individual or unfunded organisation.
If you miss out on a ticket or work in a funded organisation, a discount code will be available for additional purchases.
Before the performance, you’re invited to join us for a free drink in the New Vic Bar. Food will also be available to buy from the New Vic café.
