Sarah, General Manager
“Having followed Upswing’s work for years I am delighted to be joining the team as General Manager. I have a passion for bringing the arts to new audiences and communities and I’m inspired by Upswing’s commitment to supporting and presenting the work of under-represented artists. I’m really looking forward to working on Common Ground and finding ways to share our work more widely as we create ambitious and inspiring digital and live performances”.
Sarah has previously worked for New Writing South, Rifco Theatre Company, Streetwise Opera and Oily Cart, producing UK tours and large scale site-specific and immersive performances. She began her career in the press office at the National Portrait Gallery. Sarah is a trustee of Groundswell Arts, and All Saints Hove and in her spare time volunteers with MMUK supporting community and education projects in Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
