Circus Connect: Resource Hub

We are living in Challenging times

More than ever, it is important for Upswing to reach out, support our sector, and keep in touch with our audiences and our participants. We have created this online Resource Hub to consolidate support available for the wider Circus sector and to share fantastic work online with our audiences.

Under Resources & Funding you can find links to available up-to-date funding streams and external Government guidance for freelance artists and creatives. Scroll down to Circus Connect where we are offering conversation and action from the Upswing team, providing support in the ways we know how. Lastly, Circus at Home brings together activities from Upswing and our associates that can help keep you entertained while in your homes.

Whilst we all navigate this time, we want to facilitate space for slower thinking; consideration of what Circus at a distance could mean for performance, participation and for training. With this in mind, we will be launching Slow Thinking, a series of online conversations on topics that are preoccupying us as artists and makers. We we also be making our team available to support both individuals and small, emerging companies in whatever way we can through a series of Support Surgeries. For Circus-lovers everywhere, we’ll continue to make work that we’ve created, or been involved with, digitally available for you to enjoy from home – this includes live streamed performances from both us and our partners, recorded shows, and downloadable circus-at-home packs.
