Sherry Neyhus

Sherry, Executive Producer

“This is an exciting time for Upswing with new multi-year projects and new partnerships around London, the UK, and the world.  Now that Camille has returned from her maternity leave, I am thrilled to be staying with the company in the new role of Executive Producer with a focus on developing both existing programmes and new projects as well as establishing and expanding partnerships as we look toward our emergence from the challenges of 2020.”

Sherry Neyhus came to the UK for one-year to enrol on the MA in Arts Administration at Goldsmith’s College and still finds herself here some considerable number of years later.  In that time she’s worked for both large institutions (National Theatre,  Hackney Empire/LIFT) as well as a number of smaller, artist-led organisations (The Opera Group, Poetry Translation Centre, Opera Machine,  Dash Arts).  She is also a trustee of the English Folk Dance and Song Society.  Theatre, music, dance, visual arts, literature or participatory/community work – it’s all about the transformative power of the arts.
